identify professional goals, create positive communications and evaluate my own performance within the scope of counseling interactions. The link between supervision and field practicum experiences and the subsequent correlation
with personal and professional growth reflect my positive perspective on this experience. Clinical supervision has given me an understanding of how to interact with others in this kind
of situation and to recognize the constraints supervisors experience in any kind of collaboration. I generally have reasonable and realistic expectations of my supervisor, especially in reference to her
availability, knowledge, time, and patience. I have been a respectful participant in the relationship with my field instructor, recognizing that she has responsibilities and time constraints that can limit
her attention. During our meetings, she often asked me to express how I feel about a client situation and we have discussed aspects of client interactions. She
also asks if there are any concerns and issues that I need to discuss in order to be effective in my role, including if I have questions about how I
am approaching my internship and whether the activities meet my needs as an adult learner. The field practicum experience has helped to foster interactions with other staff members and
gain insight into the varied roles of people in this workplace environment. These interactions have helped me understand about the work and duties of the agency and the specific
activities of individual staff. It was a great pleasure interacting with staff and most of the staff made me and the other interns feel welcomed, appreciated and a part
