prearranged influences manifest through consciousness, encouraging people to react in certain - often-dissenting - ways. Being born with the need for power, some people spend their whole lives asserting
that innate desire; it is this quest for improved social, economic, political and cultural status that compels such ethnically troubled nations as South Africa to shun assimilation and choose to
dominate over others. The girls also learned that the inherent desire to be in control also bleeds into the need to monitor society
