connection. As a means by which to establish a fundamental basis for women to be perceived within the myriad literary components, the feminist critical theory serves to create a
semblance of organization between and among the foundational elements of feminism. It has always been the primary quest of the feminist critical theory to assess the sometimes strained yet
always misunderstood relations between the genders. Feminist critique truly seeks to unsnarl the web, to analyze differences -- real and imaginary -- political, economic, social and experiential.
To Room 19 by Doris Lessing is indicative of the prolific writers inherent ability to pursue even the complex of feminist concepts. Not unlike
her myriad other works, Lessing appeals to the innermost recesses of the readers soul as a means by which to impart her particular and personal interpretation of the feminist critical
