each story separately and then discusses the two together. Feminism in Nature: Cather Cathers story is about a family and a
farm. A farm is a very natural element, an essential natural element that pertains to the survival of humanity and one generally assumes that farms are run by men, with
women remaining in the kitchen or the home doing their traditional farm duties. But, in Cathers story it is a woman who runs the farm, a woman who controls the

but Cather offers up a woman in control of a farm and thus in charge of nature and the survival of humanity.
