Essay / Research Paper Abstract
7 pages in length. The philosophical quest to determine how and why man understands himself and the world around him has been explored from myriad perspectives, with two primary components serving as common denominators for any potentially unified answer: Man's beliefs are either perceptional or inferential in nature. When examining the extent to which fallibilist foundationalism can be considered a valid epistemological point of view, one can readily attribute the element of perception to its validity. Bibliography lists 2 sources.

one can readily attribute the element of perception to its validity. According to Audi, the very nature of perception is that which we,
as humans, have been trained to discern as a species, inasmuch as the certain quality of perception required within the sensual world is decidedly unique to human beings.i Man
looks upon his world as a direct reflection of him, his values, beliefs, experiences, conditions and development; contrarily, humanity may also perceive the world in a straightforward fashion, viewing things

effectiveness of presence and the experiences intensity. With the sensation of permanence there exists a lack of stimuli delivered by the moments fleeting presence, in that it fails to
bring a body/mind awareness where the body acts as a sensory organ of the mind, which in turn functions to accentuate the bodys passage through time.
Many like Audi have attempted to explain the inherent relationship that exists between fallibilist foundationalism and the elements of perception, awareness and time; of those who have
succeeded, the primary focus has been upon the sensual realm and the manner by which the passage of time can trigger enhanced sense awareness, as well as the sensual world
