powerful, sacred, and perhaps also somewhat fragile in many cases. Faith can involve a faith in God and what a particular religion has to say about God or can involve
a more abstract spiritual reality that is lacking in definition. There are also other ways one can see faith, such as believing that one will succeed in one endeavor or
another, thus "having faith" in ones future or ability. One author notes that, as an example, a person could find a chair, then sit in it: "Thats faith!" for one
has faith that the chair will support them (All About the Journey, 2008). As such, faith "is something that you and I exercise every day in our lives" (Whatisfaith.com, 2008).

What Does Faith Mean to You? I was raised Catholic, went to a few primary school years of Catholic school, experienced my
First Communion and essentially grew up in a home where my mother was very deeply immersed in faith. But, as an adult, and having learned a great deal about history,
