In a phenomenally short period of time Facebook has become "the" social networking site. Its the place where you can keep abreast
of whats happening in your current friends lives, find old friends, and make new ones. Facebook is the place where we post pictures of our children and our
itineraries for our vacation. The idea for most people is that our close associates can keep up with us simply by checking out our page. The problem, however,
is that its not just our close associates that are doing the keeping up! Facebook has become so complex that even if we wanted to it would be difficult
to keep what we consider our most private information accessible only to our closest friends. The thesis can be presented that while Facebook has privacy features available, the company
makes every effort to undermine the effectiveness of those features for the express purpose of turning a profit for Facebook!
