it comes to manufacturing, distributing and promoting various products across borders, local aspects need to be taken into consideration. Thats what this paper will deal with.
The student here has been asked to come up with a particular product and a particular country in which to market it. While the student has
a pick of a variety of products and countries, we chose the kick scooter (and its motorized cousin) as a product, and Germany as the destination country.
We chose the kick scooter because its a fairly straightforward product that isnt complicated for the consumer to understand - and there are some factors
in Germany that could be construed as demand for the product (such as the desire to keep the environment clean). Germany was
chosen for a few reasons. First, it is a strong trading partner of the U.S. and is amenable to U.S. companies setting up shop there. Second, it is a culture
that is readily understandable, both in terms of business and the arts. Third, it has a great infrastructure for distribution. Other aspects
that make it appealing include the fact that much of the population speaks English, and that the currency of this country is the euro, which is compatible to other European
