basis the real potion may be better assessed. Locally airports may be seen as a boon and a bane. There existence alone may be seen as political issues. The
current situation is one where airports such as Stansted are being targeted for expansion. The decision which lead to the decision of which airports to extend air political, and the

the political impacts that may be seen in terms of where and how flights take place. Public pressure has meant that any flights may have local regulations to deal with,
for example, at Stansted any flights that take off after eleven oclock at night will be subject to a substantial fine. Economically there are heavy impacts locally. The airline
industry and the presence of airports creates a number of jobs associated with the local workforce. The increased employments brings jobs, however, the associated drop in the prices of houses
