an established market for these games we will make some assumption about the company for the student. The majority of games and technology companies start up as entrepreneurial start
ups with highly differentiated products that give them a competitive advantage (Porter, 1985). Often they will have a steep learning curve with a very flat hierarchy; this hierarchy will need
to grow as the company expands. However, with high tech companies there is less need for labour and the Organization al structure can remain fairly flat. The directors are leaky
to have been game developers who developed a single good game and are now able to develop and use a team of developers that work in an adhocracy structure in
the development division. The production is currently taking place in the US, this allows the company full control over the manufacture of the game and the way it is
supplied. This is nearby the current office facilities which are also where the games have been developed. The ability to survive in an international environment has to be supported
by a suitable structure. The company will need to have the facilities to undertake trade across the barriers and the competencies to carry out business. We will assume that there
is the company has several members of staff with language skills and with international trading experience. B. Current Products The current products are video games suitable for computers and a
variety of different gaming consoles. The games are marital arts games with a board appeal but this is also a product that will need some adaptation for international markets.
