regarded as the "left wing" and "right wing" political perspectives, leading to a particularly divisive political process. Individuals who adhere to the model of left and right wing politics tend
to conceive of political perspective as consisting of social, economic, and moral values as well. On the other hand, some would argue that the left and right wing dichotomy is
a useful tool for understanding the major polarity that drives Western politics. Ultimately, however, the left and right wing distinction is largely useless for accurately depicting true categories of political
perspectives, as the definitions for each category tend to be consistent, sometimes overlap, are frequently subject to change over time, and both are ultimately primarily motivated by external corporate interests.
