paper based on this example. INTRODUCTION My experiences in the class "Systems Acquisition, Systems Development and Project Management" linked some of my existing knowledge about information systems technology
with methodological, structural and theoretical views of the application of IT systems management. The class provided a considerable amount of information regarding the structures of IT, management in the
IT organization and the integration of IT planning. DESCRIPTIONS OF IMPROVEMENTS This course provided a number of segments of information that were valuable in conjunction with
what I already knew about computer-based information systems. Specifically, this course helped me gain greater insight into the way in which information technology projects are managed. From the
start, I recognized that there is a distinct planning process, one that begins with an evaluation of need for IT systems and the subsequent development of a plan within specific
parameters. For any organization, the integration of an IT system requires the connection between need and goals and must be linked to the budgetary and constructive limits of the
organization. This class also helped me understand the link between different departments within the scope of IT change. Specifically, I recognized that there could be significant budgetary shifts,
which may result in differentiated resource allocation in the organizational setting, a process that also requires the development of a risk assessment. For small organizations, this kind of risk
