The physical, political and social climates are conducive to business as well. Greece is a member of the EU and uses the
euro as its national currency, and it has a well-developed financial sector with several national and international banks located on Corfu Island. Greece is business-friendly in that it does
not impose a great many regulations on business operation. Introduction This is a review of conditions affecting expansion of the day spa business
to Greece, specifically the Inonian resort island of Corfu. The day spa will offer full spa services that can be completed in a single days time. Several of
the islands largest hotels offer spa services, and one, the Spa Hotel, includes spa services as a standard offering to hotel guests. The industry is not well represented, however.
