there is a great deal of deviation in how Christians view one thing or another in society, the foundation of Christianity generally believes that euthanasia is not acceptable under Gods
law. The following paper examines the Christian perspective of the moral issue of euthanasia. Euthanasia and the Christian Perspective As mentioned, not all Christians believe, or argue, the
same things when it comes to the actions of society. For example, one may well state that the Christian perspective abhors homosexuality and is strictly against abortion. However, there are
Christians who are homosexual and Christians who have gotten abortions. There is not just one way of being a Christian and not just one Christian perspective. The following paper, however,
will generally focus on the majority as it involves the Christian culture in the United States. In understanding the topic of euthanasia it is perhaps important to realize that
there is physician assisted suicide and passive euthanasia. When a physician assists an individual in dying, in an active manner, that is physician assisted. Passive euthanasia is generally allowing someone
to die, doing nothing about it, and withdrawing things such as machines to assist, passively, in the death of an individual. "The
