some people believe everyone has the right to decide if they want to end their life and others argue that no one has the right to take their own life
or expect someone to help them take their own life. The following paper offers the pros and cons of euthanasia and argues against euthanasia for it is wrong to end
ones life, to help another end their life, or to participate in such a death in any way. Euthanasia Pros and Cons In looking at the pros and
cons the student should examine why they think people would be for euthanasia. For example, the student can imagine themselves in a position where they are in a great deal
of pain and suffering and yet are incapable of doing anything about it. They have a fatal condition that will end in death, with no cure. They may live a
week or several months in pain and anguish. If they could put an end to their suffering would they? Now the student can also envision a loved one suffering in
the same way and asking for help. Perhaps a parent is asking their child to help them end their life because they cannot go on any longer. Would the student
be strong and deny them this right? Or would they realize that they are granting their parent some peace? As the student can see this is a very sensitive
topic when one puts themselves in a position where they are faced with such a reality. Most people are not faced with this reality and so it is often easy
to argue against euthanasia without looking at the sides. While assisting someone in death or engaging in ending ones own life is morally and ethically wrong in most cases, it
