to find it. This paper does two things: it discusses very briefly the European colonization of North America in the period 1600-1640, and it does it using a web site
(one of the good ones, we hope). Discussion The web site is called "Digital History" and is found at http://www.digitalhistory.uh.edu/database/article_display.cfm?HHID=668. It came up in a Google search, the parameters of
which were "European colonization" + "North America"; and it seemed like a good choice because of its clean design and because of this statement, found under a link called "Credits":
"This Web site was designed and developed to support the teaching of American History in K-12 schools and colleges and is supported by the Department of History and the College
of Education at the University of Houston" (Mintz, 2007). In addition, the content of the site is credited to Steven Mintz, who is John and Rebecca Moores Professor of History,
