Where decisions are difficult there is increased pressure on those who are making the decision, so a clear and reliable framework can help to guide the decision making and create a firm foundations that will help to ensure that the outcomes are the best possible and maximise the available resources in the way decisions are made and outcomes are acted upon. One tool that is important in the decision making area, especially for an insurance company, is that of the ethical perspective.
