sometimes fire people for no reason, but sometimes such things relate to age and pensions and greed. What is good for the companys bottom line is sometimes not good for
the employee. But corporate ethics goes beyond downsizing and leveraged buyouts. It is related to living ones life as a manager with ethical boundaries that are in concert with the
companys goals as well as with personal ethics. In exploring this subject it seems that many issues crop up from whether or not marketers have
the right to advertise at the expense of some, or whether employees have a right to that "good old boy" network. So many problems arise when it comes to this
topic that it is difficult to encapsulate in a few broad ideas. That said, it is important to look at a variety of ethical dilemmas facing managers today. These are
significant and will raise questions concerning peripheral issues as well. Hence highlighting some ethical problems, and finding solutions provides not only a springboard for discussion, but tools with which to
