the ability to show loyalty, faithfulness and a commitment to patients is a foundation for other central principles, including supporting autonomy (Forester-Miller & Davis, 2011). In order for patients
to engage in an active process that supports their well-being and improvements in both mental and physical health, they have to believe that practitioners are present with their best interests
in mind and that they are working towards a common set of goals. While supporting autonomy is also a valuable concepts in relation to the ethics of patient care,
fidelity specifically addresses the approach taken by practitioners and care providers and promotes an integrated role for these individuals in direct correspondence with meeting patient needs. Though my belief
system does reference the need for patient care that supports the greatest level of autonomy, I believe that fidelity is the principle that reflects my ethical decision-making and my behaviors
in regards to my commitment to patients. The creation of trust and the application of standards of behavior that demonstrate this trust is an essential part of any level
of patient care. As a result, my belief system includes a focus on fidelity, which is not mutually exclusive of the principle of autonomy. Q 2:When considering
