should keep quiet-except that the person with the drug problem is the company pilot. This is the type of dilemma that leads to questions about ethics. This paper considers ethical
issues in management, and how social pressures can influence ethical decisions or create moral dilemmas. Discussion There have been so many scandals in the business community recently, and in particular
the financial meltdown, that ethics has become a major concern for everyone involved, and one of the things that must be taken into consideration is the effect of social pressures
on ethical management in organizations. This is not a new concept: "Informal conventions and norms about what constitutes appropriate behaviour are a pervasive feature of any economic and social system
