is ethical and what to do if they arent certain, and by having a simple test to determine how ethical an action might be. Texas Instruments has all three
of these documents easily accessible to all employees. The companys Code of Business Conduct has been designed to comply with the New York Stock Exchange listing standards (Texas Instruments, Code,
2007). The list includes 17 principals and standards of behavior for everyone associated with the company (Texas Instruments, Code, 2007). Examples include: making full disclosure of conflicts of interest between
personal interests and business interests; avoiding any activity regarding meals or entertainment that "could create even the appearance that our decisions could be compromised"; keeping accurate records; compliance with "laws,
rules and regulations," including laws regarding insider trading; expectation that any employee will report any possible unethical behavior (Texas Instruments, Code, 2007). The responsibility for adhering to the Code of
