evil in the world anymore. Rape victims for example are put on trial as their sexual exploits come up, but in the world of Nietzsche, a prostitute who is
the victim of rape--an evil--would be deemed good. Yet, in another sense, or in the sense of a good-bad paradigm, the prostitute would likely be deemed bad, because there is
an absence of good in this human being as she violates the norms. A student writing on the subject of Nietzsche, and wanting to explain the the
difference between the dichotomies of good-bad and good-evil in Nietzsches philosophy will want to delve into the subject of master morality. Master morality centers around the distinction between good and
bad, but slave morality on the other hand, distinguishes between good and evil (Restall, 2002). Good is a different function from either form of morality, and dependent upon whether its
opposite is bad or evil (2002). In respect to master morality, good is seen in respect to excellence and strength, and so power and proficiency are good (2002). In this
paradigm, bad is whatever lacks of this type of good (2002). One can say that for example, the sun is shining and that is good. The sun is going down,
and it is cold, so that is bad. Evil is something much worse than bad. Obviously, a setting sun might be construed as bad because it creates a situation where
it is cold and dark, but that is not evil. Evil is something that goes more to morality. Slave morality, or the model that embraces the opposite of good
