of Hinkley could cost them millions. This is evidenced by the threatening phone call that Erin receives from an unnamed caller who calls her "Erin Pattee Brockovich," as only someone
with connections would be able to find out her middle name. In this case, Erin immediately realizes that Ross, the desk clerk at the county water board, must have alerted
someone at PG&E. The next day, as she continues to investigate files at the water board for the town of Hinkley, she confronts Ross with the accusation, "Does PG&E pay
