rain), one portion of the grass is short, brown and dead and the other portion of grass is tall, green and alive. There are two elements that most commonly
impact the growth and livelihood of grass, access to adequate water and access to adequate light. As a result, these two variables will be tested to determine whether changes
in measurable amounts of light and water to the green and alive grass will result in it becoming brown and dead. Hypothesis The hypothesis for this research study
includes two components that will be tested separately. H(1): Taking away light from grass that has been growing will cause it to become brown and die. H(2):
Taking water away from grass will cause it to become brown and die. The general hypothesis that will be assessed, then, relative to these findings is whether variations
in access to light and water have determined the difference in outcomes for the two lawns studied. The Method and Experiment Three areas will be corded off
and observations of each section will be made in order to determine whether any external or environmental changes other than those being tested impact the outcomes of the quasi-experimental process.
Initial observations will be used to determine whether any existing conditions are currently impacting the differences in grass quality observed. For example, observations will be made about the
availability of light for each of the lawns, in order to determine whether buildings, trees or other structures block the light for the lawn that is not growing successfully.
In addition, observations will be made about the access that each site has to both water and water drainage (the number of times the lawn is watered by day or
