a growing population the average population growth rate is 1.6%, however, the number of households in Australia is increasing at a greater rate as the average household size decreases, since
1911, the number of households has increased by an average of 2.4% per annum (Australia Bureau of Statistics, 2005). It is estimated that there were roughly 7.4 million households in
Australia in 2005 (Australia Bureau of Statistics, 2005). This indicates that there is a large potential market as almost all households will have at least one shower, and with an
average of 2.6 people1 in each household this equates to a large number of showers taken in the country each day. Each year there are new homes built in order
