These qualities make him an ideal candidate for a variety of English language learning programs designed to help him learn the English language more fully and completely. While different assessment procedures exist, in the case of Chin, the Woodcock-Munoz Language Survey would be the most appropriate based upon his circumstances (Assessment of ELL Students, 2004). This survey is designed for students whose primary home language is something other than English (Assessment of ELL Students, 2004). In Chins case, his primary home language is Chinese (Assessment of ELL Students, 2004).
