air against his cheeks as the young man turns around in a circle, taking in the essence of the camp, feel the apprehension and fear of so many unknowns all
congregated in this scene from Hell. To complete the image, there is the unseen fire that consumes the souls of the children. One can smell the stench, carried
on the cold night air, and see the tendrils of smoke as they curl up through the lights above the camp. It is a prison. The sights and
sounds are the weft of the fabric of Eli Wiesels memory. He has spun his tale from the dark abyss of a history so strong that many would like
