Supporters of the L.A. school system will argue that it is doing a great job, especially when one considers financial resources, social issues, bi-or tri-lingual challenges, while detractors will claim that not enough is being done to serve the families of L.A.’s “under-privileged” regions and that far too many children are being falling through the cracks.
