There exist many factors related to the issue of retirement after twenty five years and how it influences the public educational system, not the least of which points
directly to pensions and other benefits the educator or administrator stands to gain upon retirement. Even when that retirement is on an involuntary basis -- where the employee is
instructed to end his or her career early at the request of the school board or state -- those asked to step down actually fair just as well out of
a job as they do actively working. Contrarily, the inclusion of newly graduated instructors, who take the place of those retirees reaching their
twenty five year mark, may actually prove to enrich students academic experience by introducing a fresh approach to learning. The writer intends to show what, if any, effects these
issues bring upon public education when educators and administrators retire after twenty five years of service. II. REVIEW OF LITERATURE Studies show
