needs. In undertaking an educational needs assessment there are a number of tools which can be utilized to gather relevant data. The results should be determined through an analysis of
the information gathered concerning potential areas of education for the organization. It is notable that educational needs of one year may change in the following year, especially if the educational
program introduced is successful. The assessment also needs to be undertaken with consideration of the type of organization, and consideration of the organizational performance and needs. In this case the
organization being studied is a home care agency, providing a range of nursing services for different types of patients within the Brooklyn, New York area. The nursing services are provided
to adults, the youngest of which will be 18, which would be at different stages of their own lifecycle, with the care provided in their own home. Services offered include,
but are not limited to, general nursing services, physical and occupational therapy, nutritional advice etc.. The patient needs are matched up with the nursing staff who are allocated to their
case. In terms of general education, the staff all have the required educational and professional qualifications for their positions, and undertake the ongoing learning requirements to maintain their qualification and
