to develop a career in business, and Im seeking a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Economics and Accounting as a result. My macroeconomics courses provided me with the theoretical
background for pursuing further study in accounting and business principles. Economic theory is invaluable to understanding the big picture of business development. My courses in accounting have led
me to further understand the application of underlying principles to specific situations and have given me some central skills to allow a further focus in business and accounting as a
combined concentration. One of the key courses that has supported my development as a student of business and accounting is a course entitled: Managerial Accounting. This
course focused on the application of accounting and business principles relative to the development of business management. In conjunction, though, this course also covered many of the central points
that are applied in understanding business actions, inactions and the development of business planning. As a result, this course was a significant course in the development of my career
plan, my desire for a concentration in business and accounting, and in the focus on my distinct view of education relative to the goals of my career. Though my
basic career goal is broad, I have a desire to implement new systems and new organizational tools as an element of business development. In the modern era, the development
of information systems technology has made business accounting and operational systems increasingly complex. It is my desire to be a part of the changing business environment at a time
