myriad components that illustrate the respect Dr. Wilson has for the foundation of learning, not the least of which includes aspects from all five competency levels. From the very
first knowledge indicator in Competency 1, Dr. Wilson has a deep understanding of how to synthesize theory and practice, an approach that is particularly effective when she interjects snippets of
her own life experiences as a means by which to draw a common ground between herself and her students as human beings (1P1). While she maintains the separation of
teacher and pupil, at the same time she is able to transcend that barrier to reside within the common denominator of social realm that unifies all people. From this
