the U.S. military can be implemented in the American high school and what obstacles administrators might encounter. This evaluation provides needs of the program and how they might be fulfilled.
Current State: One particular need was identified by the U.S. military as it was discovered that recruitment efforts have not been very successful in recent years. Because
the U.S. military is dependent upon new recruits, it is imperative that the youth be educated. The government does implemented a variety of programs such as DARE, STARE and other
socially relevant models in order to shape society and create good citizens. For the future of the military it is important that it be strengthened by the public. By aligning
recruitment with computer learning, two things are accomplished at the same time. Indeed, it is known that there is also a need for students to learn to work on computers
in order to thrive in the world. They need such skills for college as well as for work. It was not based on a perceived need from administrators. Teachers were
complaining about the lack of computer knowledge, while administrators would assume that the students are well versed in computers. The military idea was again something that was suggested from outside
the walls of the high school. To some extent, it was a need based on discussion with the learners that the teachers initiated. The teachers discovered the gap in computer
knowledge and so the need was there. The need for military recruits is something that was only acknowledged by an outside influence. There was of course no noticeable lack of
