pros and cons to whether or not distance education is effective in terms of resource allocation and effectiveness in general. However, what needs also to be studied is how one
might evaluate a specific distance learning program in terms of its impact on the students using it. Well examine, in this paper, some suggestions as to how certain experts have
evaluated the effectiveness of their e-learning programs. Though Bersin (2002) focuses more on e-learning for business rather than for the classroom, much
of his evaluation questions and tips would certainly work well with classroom e-education settings as well. He points out, for one thing, that unlike the traditional instructor-led trainings, teachers and
instructors cant look their students in the eye, talk to them or get their feedback on whether theyre learning anything or not (Bersin, 2002). As a result, he points out,

be a little more - but there is still the question of how often the student might be showing up to "class."
This moves on to the next question he brings up, namely, whether or not people are moving through the course effectively (Bersin, 2002). If people are enrolling but arent getting
