This time, America was about to go to war, and most were seeking answers to the problems that now confronted the country. Bushs answer: The State of Our Union Has
Never Been Stronger. Now, more than a year later, one has to question whether this is true. It would seem that Enduring Freedom has many enduring and difficult decisions and
ramifications that were not foreseen when the United States first embarked to rid the world of all its evils. He went on to assure the American public that immediate
results from the initial response from American and Allied troops had already begun in the areas of relief for women and children in Afghanistan, and had shut down many of
the known terrorist camps that had been tolerated for too long. Bush seemed driven to impress upon the public that swift and immediate justice had been served to the perpetrators
of this high crime against humanity. Serving as an example, Israel took notes from this campaign against the Taliban in Afghanistan and decided that the world would tolerate an escalation
against the terrorism in their own nation. The United States with its superpower status sits in the position of setting many of the precedents which will be embraced by many
other countries in defense of their own definitions of terrorism. In his State of the Union address, President Bush assured the American people that his goals were simple: Win
