the Internet and the World Wide Web (not to mention some help from the Netscape browser) has led to a whole new type of marketing being introduced to business management
-- that of e-marketing (also dubbed e-commerce). Though e-marketing is still being formulated, some people are finding success with it. For example, the
campaign of potential U.S. presidential candidate Howard Dean was fueled by e-marketing (Schultz, 2004). Not only were contributions logged online, two-way interactions took place on a regular basis, via e-mail
and even interactive forums. In fact, political analysts continue to monitor the Dean campaign as a potential "case study" on how to deal with e-marketing for the future (Schultz, 2004).
Though e-marketing and regular marketing are similar, the charm of e-marketing is that its interactive. When a buyer purchase something through e-marketing, this
customers purchases can be tracked, meaning that the marketer can find some way to promote more things to this person, things the person might be interested in. This, in turn,
has introduced customer relationship management as a way to build and maintain markets. In this paper, well examine some facets of e-marketing including
