can successfully manage its team-based operations. This paper will explore some of the more important aspects of team based operations in a business context, with an eye towards refining team
operations in an evidence-based manner. Decision Making Procedures One of the most significant and important aspects of team based operations in a business context is the
need to effectively make decisions. While individuals can find it difficult to make decisions, especially when the stakes are high, the process of making a decision becomes infinitely more complex
and difficult to manage in a group scenario. This is, of course, because in any given group situation, different personalities with different values will be striving to make decisions based
upon different decision making priorities. For this reason, the key to making any decision effectively in a business context is to push a group towards consensus, without which a decision
is fundamentally impossible. The concept of decision making is thusly best explored in the context of the different methods that are sometimes used to help groups move towards a
