and responsibilities of the soldier as reflected in the values possessed by the military. Duties and Responsibilities of the Soldier To begin with anyone who joins the military,
no matter the branch, is essentially putting themselves in a position where a great deal is expected of them. They are, in many ways, expected to put aside most, if
not all, personal issues and do their duty to protect and serve the nation no matter the cost. In all honesty, if they do not commit full force then they
are not doing their duty, and not protecting the nation. The details involved in following rules and duties may often seem inconsequential and pointless, especially if a soldier is not
engaged in a time or place of battle. But it is the foundation of such duties that will protect and serve the nation, through the individual soldier, when the time
comes for such battle. The point is that regardless of what is asked, the soldier must perform and perform correctly and honorably in order to ultimately do their job, the
job they signed on to do when they chose to be a protector of the nation. The problem in question was that
of being late. While many people have a serious problem with being on time, or an inability to be on time, this is crucial when speaking of military employees. In
