inadequacy, and levels of education. Bearing that in mind the following paper first examines alcohol and drug abuse among different ethnic people in the United States. While this perspective may
discuss people who have recently immigrated here, it is predominantly an opening into the world of drugs and alcohol as it is divided among races in the country. The paper
then discusses Some of the problems associated with recent immigrants who are heavily immersed in a drug or alcohol problem. Following that is a case study concerning adolescent Asian Indian
immigrants and their drug and alcohol problems. The paper finishes with treatment perspectives which address all alcohol and drug abusers. The focus of treatment is essentially that which involves education
