social components as the individual becomes more deeply obsessed reflects the interwoven elements that serve to alter the childs perception of self and surroundings. Most notably, distinct changes to
personality, behavior and physiological aspects leave little doubt when addiction is present, not the least of which includes bodily indicators such as red, glazed eyes; fatigue, chronic cough and ongoing
health complaints. Emotionally, the childs entire persona shifts to one who is more verbally combative, moody, irritable, irresponsible, disinterested in things he or she had always enjoyed; as well,
judgment capability wanes to the point of making inappropriate or dangerous decisions. At the same time, these antisocial behaviors transform the family dynamics to the point of the child
being disrespectful to parents, harboring a negative attitude, breaking rules, instigating quarrels, being secretive and withdrawing from family interaction. Similar identifiable behaviors occur within the school environment, as well,
to the extent of grade decline, lack of interest, negativity, absenteeism, discipline issues, rebellious appearance and not getting along with other students. The individuals with whom the addicted child
