all socioeconomic levels, it is popularly believed to be a greater problem of groups of lower income and education. The premise here is
that those women of higher socioeconomic levels are less likely to report domestic violence. They frequently have images to uphold in the community, and their husbands often have greater
influence and financial resources, often used to thwart efforts by intervention agencies or even the local courts. This is a proposal for research
