Discussion Lets take the second question first, and then see if we can apply it to the play. A search for "recognizing true love" (of course) brought up a whole
bunch of dating sites, but also an interesting article from Dummies.com entitled "Recognizing the Signs of True Love." Lets go with that, because its not a commercial pitch and it
actually sounds somewhat reasonable. According to the book, real love involves several important steps. First, "Youre willing to explain why you dont want to date others" ("Recognizing the Signs of
True Love"-hereafter "Recognizing the Signs). This has to do with a "willingness to talk about and explain being exclusive" ("Recognizing the Signs"). Many people dont tell their partners that they
are the only one, feeling the admission might give the other person too much power in the relationship ("Recognizing the Signs"). When people can admit to one another that they
are exclusive, they also admit that theyre vulnerable; this indicates that they are really in love and a rational adult as well ("Recognizing the Signs"). Second, people in love "ditch
the little black book" - for good; they dont keep copies on the laptop or stashed somewhere else ("Recognizing the Signs"). They get rid of it for good, indicating that
