extent of ambiguity in relation to definition and assessment, which leads one to surmise that leadership, while necessary, is not always the saving grace it is meant to be.
Barkdoll (2002) notes that there has long been resistance to define this ambiguity, contending that "the way we do things around here is an efficient and frequently cited common sense
