about love but for the most part people generally assume that regardless of ones gender, love is simply love. With that in mind the following paper examines if men and
women feel differently about love. The paper addresses love as it applies to a spouse or a partner rather than other forms of love. Do Men and Women
Feel Differently About Love? In first looking at whether or not men and women feel differently about love two authors, a married couple, note how most people may well assume
that we are all seeking "Unconditional love and acceptance" (Rosberg; Rosberg 15). The authors indicate that "When we open our hearts to another person, our bottom-line desire is to be
accepted and loved the way we are, warts and all" (Rosberg; Rosberg 15). But, at the same time they also indicate that most people would expect that in a relationship
a man would likely pick sex as his number one concern and a woman would pick communication (Rosberg; Rosberg). Their studies and research, however, demonstrated that "as different as men
and women can be, both agreed on this one truth; We all need to be loved unconditionally by our spouses" (Rosberg; Rosberg 15). In this it can be assumed
that, at least from one perspective, men and women both feel the same in relationship to what they want in a love relationship. They both desire to be loved unconditionally.
