and issues concerning the network requirements and the server location. To look at the way in which this is to be set up we first need to consider
the needs. We will assume there are to be a variety of users, some of which may need to use different operating systems due to the software. The network will
be assumed to cover the entire company, with a range of different users and user types, the need to have a high level of computing power at the units, but
at the same time there are also severe constrains on the budget. There are many issues regarding the way a network is
put together, how resources are used so that they are maximised, and delays or overflows are reduced. One system that is used in networking is the distributed network with the
files distributed as opposed to a centralised system. The distributed network is an environment and infrastructure in which the network resources, such as the processors and switching equipment are distributed
throughout the geographical area being served. Control of any network will either be distributed or centralised (IEC, 2005). A distributed computing environment (DCE) works because of the way
in which the system interacts between the different systems that contain the DCE components. This is facilitated by a remote procedure call vehicle that is considered a fundamental middleware piece
of the DCE (IEC, 2005). The DCE needs a special source code that is accessible from the Open Group. If a company wishes to use DCE on their networks,
usually at the vendor level, then this source codes needs to be included in the operating platforms (IEC, 2005). The DCE also has within several middleware services which also
