outsourcing project will eliminate many of the problem associated with outsourcing. Many companies understand the importance of due diligence and careful planning and investigation before signing any contract, yet many
companies are not satisfied with their outsourcing projects (Perkins, 2003). Certain issues, which contribute to the dissatisfaction of the results of the final project, include changing leadership, having team
members leave and be replaced with different team members, and mistaking the contract for an actual relationship (Perkins, 2003). The responsibility for the success of any type of
outsourcing remains with the company doing the outsourcing, despite any contracts, which may be signed. It is always best to be aware of any obstacles, which may be possible,
and to make sure that the customers that are being served are having their needs met (Perkins, 2003). DISSATISFACTION WITH OUTSOURCING Corporations have been falling in and out of love
with the concept of outsourcing for the past ten years (Preston, 2005). As examples, in the mid 1990s, MONY, the New York based insurer, cut it seven-year outsourcing contract
with Computer Sciences short stating that there had been morale and other problems (Preston, 2005). In 2002, Bank One ended a $2 billion outsourcing agreement with IBM and AT&T, with
CEO Jamie Dimon citing the banks need to "control its own destiny" (Preston, 2005) As president of J.P. Morgan Chase, which acquired Bank One last year, Dimon scuttled a $5
billion outsourcing deal with IBM for similar reasons (Person, 2005). Although there isnt a support group for disillusioned corporate executive as of yet, many executives who implement outsourcing deal
