Disney Channel and ABC the company has been able to build a success. Part of the success sis seen with the theme parks division of the company, which runs, or
has interests in Disney theme parks across the globe, along with their related activities which include the hospitality facilities that accompany the building of a theme park, such as a
range of hotels restaurants and shopping facilities. The position of Disney is often seen as an example of the way companies in the travel and leisure industry should operate,
renowned for its standards of customer care and which is a part of the recognized Disney culture. This high level of service has been an effective way the company has
been able to compete through the use of a differentiation strategy. To examine the strategy of Disney theme parks in great detail, considering the way in which is an integrated
strategy in Disney and how the different divisions support each other leading to a strong position for the theme parks and hotels the use of different models to examine business
strategy can be utilized. Four theorists models will be utilized in this paper; Porter and his five forces model, we can see the Kinsey seven Ss, Mintzberg 5 Ps and
