1. In todays age, it is accepted that women are in these once male dominated occupations but there is a deterioration of what was gained during the 1960s and 1970s.

nation, there had been attention to womens issues once again. Feminism actually erupted about a century earlier, when women were looking forward to the right to vote. During the twentieth
century, equality was the issue and in fact, some claim it is still an important fight. That is, despite legislation and protesting, burning of bras and Supreme Court cases, women
are still experiencing discrimination in the workplace. Often the discrimination is subtle. After all, there are laws that continue to protect certain classes, but salary is usually a hidden issue.
