is because love is something that is almost indefinable. It is an emotion that has many definitions, and many ways of expression. It means many things to many people, and
also means simple things to some. Love ultimately comes in many types, or forms. The following paper illustrates how love comes in many different forms, discussing some of the most
obvious types of love, while coming to the ultimate conclusion that people experience love so they are not alone. Different Types of Love Before going into different categories
or types of love it is perhaps important to define what most people feel is love, regardless of category. One author notes that, "The emotion of love is the same
regardless of who you feel it for. You want them to be happy, you accept them as they are, and you appreciate some aspect(s) about them" (Different Types of Love
Relationships). Another author, in discussing what the Bible in the New Testament has to say about love, states, "It chiefly means doing and caring for some one as much as
you care for yourself" (What are three (3) types of Love in the New Testament?). And, still yet, the Merriam-Webster Dictionary states that love can mean, "strong affection for another
arising out of kinship or personal ties...attraction based on sexual desire....warm attachment, enthusiasm, or devotion" or an "unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another" (Merriam-Webster Dictionary).
