consuming reality. In short, this society is one that expects instant attention and instant success. In the world of dieting people assume
there is a magic diet out there that will give them instant results. There is also evidence that when people do not get instant results they may be more prone
to mental illness and depression because success was not instant (Aaronson, 2005; 20). People are going in for surgery to get rid of fat just because this is the quickest
answer to their problem, or so they think. Unfortunately, there is no quick fix for loosing weight and diets of any kind are not going to give instant results. As
such people really need to address what they are eating and why, eating healthy and naturally, rather than eating whatever recent fad claims to have the best results. The following
paper illustrates how and why people should just eat healthy and sensibly if they desire to lose weight and be healthy. Dieting: Just Eat Healthy As one could
well imagine, there are many healthy diets that one could focus on. In todays day and age, however, there seems to be specific guidelines for people with particular health conditions
and as such those will not be addressed. The following discussion will essentially focus on a generally healthy diet and not a diet specifically geared for one problem (i.e. high
